Description

The Coleby cot bed is it the perfect solution for parents searching for a stylish and practical piece to furnish little one’s first room. It’s traditional design has some great key features, and the included under drawer also offers a handy storage solution to keep little one’s essentials close at hand. The cot bed has open slatted sides that are perfect for watching over your baby during their most peaceful times, and the presence of teething rails ensures your child’s delicate teeth are protected. 

The top position of the mattress base allows your baby to be taken in and out of the cot bed without any unnecessary bending, from birth to approximately 6 months. Whilst they’re learning to sit and stand, the mattress base can then be lowered by a further two positions, providing extra security and reassurance. Once your little one is ready to progress to a bed, the Coleby cot bed can then convert seamlessly into a stylish junior bed, suitable for a child up to approximately four years old. 

The added under drawer is on castors to offer a greater depth, perfectly matches the cot bed and seamlessly fits underneath keeping everything neat and tidy. Our Coleby cot bed is the perfect choice from tot to toddler, offering maximum durability and great value.

1. What material is it made of?

The Coleby Classic Cot Bed is made from durable engineered wood (MDF, LVL and New Zealand pine mix) with open slatted sides for visibility and airflow.

2. How should I clean it?

Simply wipe it down with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive pads to protect the finish.

3. Can I remove just one side?

When converting to a toddler bed, you’ll need to remove both side rails. The end panels remain in place as the headboard and footboard. The design doesn’t support using it with only one side removed.

4. What size mattress does it take?

The Coleby Classic Cot Bed fits a standard 140cm x 70cm cot bed mattress, available separately or as part of a bundle.

5. Up to what age is the cot bed suitable?

It’s suitable from birth up to around 4 years old, depending on your child’s development.

6. How many base height positions are there?

The cot bed has three adjustable base heights — high for newborns, middle as your baby grows, and low once they start to stand.

7. Does it come with teething rails?

Yes, the Coleby Classic includes protective teething rails on both sides to help prevent damage to the cot and protect little gums.

8. Does the cot bed come flat-packed?

Yes, the cot bed arrives flat-packed for easy self-assembly, with clear instructions and all fittings included.

9. Do I need any tools for assembly?

Basic tools (like an Allen key) are included in the box. No additional tools are needed.
